J. Ruinemans B.V.

Established in 1972 in Eesveen (Steenwijk), Overijssel, our family business boasts a rich history. In the early 1960s, our father, Jan Ruinemans, started a car dealership in Steenwijk under the name ‘J. Ruinemans’, focusing primarily on the purchase and sale of passenger vehicles. In 1972, the business moved to Eesveen, with Jan operating the dealership from the current farmhouse location. In the 1980s, he recognized the lack of specialization within the commercial vehicle sector—a unique market opportunity. True to his entrepreneurial spirit, Jan seized this opportunity, successfully transitioning the company’s focus.

In 2003, Jan’s sons took over the company. Gradually, the farmhouse expanded into what it is today: a modern automotive business with a fully equipped workshop and an average stock of 200 commercial vehicles. In 2018, two new divisions were added: the RAM pick-up dealership and our own leasing company, Locallease.

Growing up, we spent our childhood playing among the cars and from an early age, lent a hand in the family business. The trade has truly been instilled in us from a young age.

Since 2003, we have jointly run the company. Over the years, Ruinemans Bedrijfswagens has grown into a reliable partner for the sale and maintenance of commercial vehicles, thanks in part to our team of nine dedicated employees. Like us, their mission is to unburden our customers, providing them with reliable commercial vehicles through genuine craftsmanship.
