We are parting ways with our Tischer cabin and the base vehicle, a Mercedes X-Class 250 Power Edition, as we have upgraded to a motorhome in retirement.
The spacious camper cabin is well-maintained, clean, and dry (fully sealed). It was built in 1996 and has always been stored in a garage. Used only in summer, it is smoke-free.
There is also a detachable tent extension, which with its pole system, offers additional living and storage space.
Two solar panels on the roof further increase the possibilities for self-sufficient camping.
I am the second owner for 20 years and am only selling because we have upgraded to a larger motorhome.
For easier positioning on the base vehicle, a custom aluminum rail was made, making centering on the loading area much easier and faster.
I am also selling the base vehicle, a Mercedes X-Class Power Edition, as we are getting a smaller car alongside our new motorhome.
The vehicle is still registered and drivable.
The Mercedes comes with many extras and accessories, such as a hardtop, chrome roll bar, wheel spacers, fender flares, front bar (bull bar), air spring suspension support, reinforced rear coil springs, interchangeable second tow bar, original Mercedes plastic bed liner, additional rubber mat on the loading area, quick-release fasteners for quick removal/disassembly of the tailgate, 4 fastening points for the camper cabin, hydraulic bonnet lift, 8 wheels with alloy rims, 4 snow chains in two storage boxes, etc.
Also available is a hydraulic lifting device I built for lifting and storing the hardtop.
