When Westfalia built the first motorhome, the Windrose, in 1951 on behalf of a British officer, the goal was clear: to create a vehicle that was practical both for everyday life and for leisure and holiday use. The standard set by the engineers over 70 years ago with the SO23 was also the foundation for developing the Westfalia Amundsen models. One result is the 600D, which set a benchmark thanks to its attractive pricing.

The first owner of the vehicle was Westfalia GmbH itself. At the beginning of 2023, it was handed to its most recent owner, who has now switched to a semi-integrated motorhome. We then operated the vehicle in our rental fleet during the 2025 season.

The vehicle comes with a follow-up warranty covering the entire vehicle and installations for 24 months, valid until 07/2026. This means all financial risks are covered—there is no safer way.

If you are interested in additional accessories such as a safe or an inverter, we would be happy to offer these as well.

Of course, you will also find further vehicles from Knaus, Weinsberg, and Tabbert on permanent display at our premises.
