SCHMID Tandem Trailer – folding steel ramps – very good condition

Robust SCHMID tandem trailer for the transport of machines and heavy equipment. Due to a change in project requirements, the trailer has been used very little and is in very good condition.

Its stable design, extensive corrosion protection, and versatile load securing options make it a reliable companion for commercial use.

CHASSIS AND LOADING PLATFORM
• Self-supporting, torsion-resistant chassis made of welded steel profiles with high load reserves
• Chassis frame and drawbar hot-dip galvanized
• Loading platform made of 50 mm thick spruce wood planks laid lengthwise
• Recessed lashing eyes on the sides with a load capacity of 2 tons
• Four integrated heavy-duty lashing bars with a load capacity of 7.5 tons in the corners

SIDE PANELS AND BODY
• Profiled, continuously laser-welded steel side panels, 400 mm high
• Fixed, bolted front panel
• Continuous side panels with a length of 5.25 m, foldable and removable
• Removable rear panel, plug-in rear supports
• Steel side panel body hot-dip galvanized and painted on the outside

ACCESS RAMPS
• Two-part steel ramps with a grating surface and aluminum folding section, foldable in length
• Foldable and laterally adjustable to adapt to different track widths
• Adjustable coil spring pressure supports to assist in lifting the ramps
• Secured in the driving position by adjustable tension locks and tension straps
• Steel construction and grating hot-dip galvanized

AXLES, DRAWBAR, AND BRAKES
• Tandem axle assembly with rocker for compensating uneven terrain
• Maintenance-free parabolic suspension
• High-speed axles with cam brakes and automatic brake adjusters
• Low-bed tires on disc wheels
• Infinitely adjustable central drawbar tube with hand crank
• 50 mm DIN drawbar eye
• Two-line compressed air brake with automatic load-dependent brake regulation (ALB)
• Automatic anti-lock braking system (ABS 4S/3M)
• Spindle parking brake with hand crank

• Front geared support winch with a lifting capacity of 10 tons, load and fast gear
