Dethleffs Globebus i003

We are selling a well-maintained Dethleffs motorhome, model Globebus I003, with custom modifications and an autonomy package.
Fully integrated on a Fiat Ducato chassis.
The motorhome is 6m long, 2.7m high, and has a maximum authorized weight of 3.5 tons; it can be driven with a standard car driver's license.
2.3L Iveco engine with 131 hp, upgraded catalytic converter/particle filter, green environmental badge.
Mileage: 64,000 km.

The timing belt and water pump have been replaced; the clutch, including the master and slave cylinders, is new. The turbo and hoses have been replaced, and all engine and transmission mounts have been renewed.
The entire braking system has been overhauled (new discs, pads, hoses, and brake pistons), and the front suspension/shock absorbers have been reinforced (the vehicle no longer sags at the front). At the rear, a double leaf spring, new shock absorbers, and an air suspension system have been installed.
Front lower control arms replaced. The air conditioning system has been refilled and functions perfectly.
Daytime running lights have been added, and the headlight reflectors have been replaced.
There are no outstanding maintenance or repair needs.

Alloy wheels and low-profile tires.
Thanks to the modifications to the suspension, the motorhome drives like a large car, with no swaying or rolling during the journey.

A parking assist system (front/rear) and a rearview camera make maneuvering easier.
The trailer hitch is approved for up to 2000 kg.

An electric leveling system automatically adjusts the vehicle's position upon arrival at the destination with the push of a button, relieving the suspension. This eliminates the need to drive onto ramps and the rocking motion when moving around inside the vehicle.
A pleasant side effect: the supports can be extended so far that the wheels are relieved of weight during the winter break, preventing flat spots on the tires.

Our motorhome has a solar system with two large panels, a 180Ah lithium-ion battery, and an automatic charge controller that continuously charges the vehicle battery.
With the 230V/2000W inverter, you don't have to forgo "230V mains power" even without an external power connection.
The LED TV and self-seeking satellite system enable TV reception via various satellites throughout Europe; the system operates on 12V and is powered by the solar system.
A roof vent with a fan provides fresh air and helps on hot days.

The interior has been converted to LED lighting, and several USB and 230V sockets have been added.
New Truma Duo gas changeover system with space for two large gas bottles; an 11kg Alugas bottle can be taken over.

Since we only used the motorhome as a couple, we carried out a "custom modification" for use by two people. The large seating area in the rear has been replaced by a very comfortable 2 x 1.2m bed and two individual seats with a small, swivel table.
The bed has a one-piece mattress with a special spring system and offers a high level of sleeping comfort.
Of course, all original equipment parts are available, and it is possible to easily revert to the original condition (see the last 2 pictures).
For the exterior, there are three wind and privacy screens, a sunshade tarp for the awning, and an awning tent.
All accessories, cutlery, dishes, pots, pans, tables, and chairs for outdoor use, a Cadac grill, a tent carpet, a bicycle rack (rear), and a box with tie-down straps, tent pegs, and a rubber mallet are included.
