Renault Master (2001) – Self-contained camper / winter-proof bus for DIY enthusiasts

Description:
We are selling our Renault Master, model year 2001. As our family is growing, we unfortunately no longer have the time to invest in the necessary maintenance for the bus each year. Therefore, we are now selling our camper project.

Regarding the conversion and equipment:
The bus was converted 8 years ago by a vehicle body specialist and a carpenter working together. It is well-designed, offers plenty of storage space, and is perfectly suitable for year-round use:
• Insulation: Completely insulated with Armaflex. This keeps the heat in during the winter and prevents it from heating up too quickly in the summer.
• Heating & Kitchen: Reliable Truma gas heater, stovetop, and a sink with a 50L fresh water tank.
• Sanitation: A custom-fit, standard niche for a Boxio composting toilet is already in place.
• Electrical system & energy: A solar panel is mounted on the roof, allowing for several days of self-sufficiency. A 12V and 220V socket inside the bus, as well as a cigarette lighter, can be used to operate, for example, a cooler box or charge an e-bike. An inverter is installed, and USB ports are located around the bed for charging mobile phones, etc. Lights are also permanently installed in the bus and can be dimmed.
Condition & History:
The vehicle has been regularly maintained by us, and we have already replaced the gearbox. However, as it is an older vehicle, we have had to invest some work in the undercarriage each year.
