This brand-new Caterpillar 324 hydraulic excavator is a 2026 export model and is now offered for sale by BIG Machinery in the Netherlands. As the successor to the Caterpillar 323D3, the CAT 324 provides improved performance, enhanced stability, and greater operator comfort in the medium-sized excavator segment.

This non-CE specification is designed for export markets and features a heavy-duty boom and arm configuration, advanced hydraulic tool control system, and a long undercarriage for maximum productivity.

The machine is equipped with a 5.70 m heavy-duty reach boom and a 2.50 m heavy-duty arm, including reinforced boom, arm, and bucket cylinders with B1 linkage. The hydraulic system features Tool Control System (TCS) with auxiliary circuits, high-pressure boom and arm lines, return lines, and a basic tool control circuit with integrated valve system for optimal attachment flexibility.

Operator comfort is ensured by the standard cab with ISO control layout, both interior and exterior ISO markings, 8-inch monitor, and single-button joystick operation. The excavator is mounted on a long undercarriage with 600 mm heavy-duty triple grouser shoes. Protection features include undercarriage guards, travel motor guard, track guard, and windshield guard. A heavy-duty swing frame with standard swing bearing and swing drive ensures lasting durability and smooth rotation.

A 1.30 m³ bucket is included, together with a 4,550 kg counterweight for improved stability.
